Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
An angel awakens Zechariah to a golden candlestick with seven lamps and two olive trees. The passage is a symbolic inner vision inviting interpretation about one's inner temple and divine supply.
Neville's Inner Vision
I am the I AM speaking here. In this vision the candlestick is your own consciousness lit by the golden fire of awareness; the bowl on top is your receptivity, the seven lamps are the seven faculties of your mind—each already lit by the divine spark. The pipes feed the flame, representing the channels through which your thoughts and feelings feed reality. The two olive trees standing beside the lampstand are your two powers—faith and action, or wisdom and love—ever supplying oil to keep the flame alive. The angel waking you from sleep is your inner guard, the voice of the I AM, waking you to realize that all these sights exist within you, not outside. As you align with this truth, you become the observer and creator of your own world; the vision becomes your present consciousness rather than a distant promise. The question 'What seest thou?' becomes 'What am I now believing and feeling?' Remember: God is the I AM within, and imagination creates reality through steady assumption.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state 'I AM awake now.' Visualize a golden candlestick lit with seven lamps, bowls, and pipes, with two olive trees pouring oil into the bowl; feel the flame as your inner presence guiding you.
