Zechariah 2:8-9

Biblical Context

Zechariah 2:8-9 says the LORD sends His messenger to the nations that spoiled Israel, declaring that touching God’s people is touching the apple of His eye, and that a shaking will reveal His hand.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the LORD of hosts is your I AM. The glory you seek lives now as your own awareness; after that inner glory, the messenger is sent to the 'nations' of your life—those outer conditions, doubts, and habits that spoiled you by convincing you of separation. To touch you is to touch the apple of the eye—the center of your awareness, the very seat of the I AM. When you assume the truth that you are protected, you align with your inner decree and feel it real; the shaking is not punishment but the reordering of your inner state until the outward scene bows to the new you. Those nations shall be a spoil to their servants: your old fears and lack become instruments of your new service, yielding to the indwelling power you now acknowledge. And ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me: you gain the knowing that your inner God is directing the scene. Your work is to dwell in the certainty that you are the author of the dream; the world will mirror your realized state.

Practice This Now

Assume the truth that you are protected by the I AM and feel it real in your chest right now. If fear remains, revise by repeating, 'I am the I AM, and my world reflects this state,' watching outer conditions rearrange accordingly.
