Zechariah 2:4

Biblical Context

The verse proclaims Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls, symbolizing abundant, unbounded life within the inner city of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Jerusalem in this verse is the capital of your inner state, the I AM awareness that you are. The command to run and speak to your young man is an invitation to address the callow belief that you are confined by walls of lack and limitation. The declaration that Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls signifies that your consciousness is not to be fenced by fear, need, or doubt; it is to be open to the influx of life. The multitude of men and cattle symbolizes the varied thoughts, desires, energies, and provisions that your inner city can hold when it rests in the reality you choose. You live in a kingdom where peace (Shalom) governs, order prevails, and the inhabitants are the many aspects of your being — not strangers but guests welcomed by your awareness. If you assume this open state, if you revise every sense of scarcity, you will witness projects, relationships, and gifts flowing into your life as if they were always permitted to be there. The promise is not distant; it is a remodeling of your inner atmosphere, a return to the truth that God, Your I AM, dwells within, unbounded.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and see your inner Jerusalem open to all life, walls dissolving before your awareness. Repeat, with feeling, 'This inner city is unbounded now; abundance, peace, and every need are met.'
