Neville's Inner Vision

From the Neville perspective, this vision is not a distant geography but an interior audit. The man with the measuring line is your own attention, standing before the inner city of your soul. As you lift your eyes, you are called to notice the extent of your current state of consciousness. Jerusalem, measured in breadth and length, becomes the scale of your inner Kingdom, a measure you invent by assumption. The two angels who depart and meet are facets of your awareness—the messenger of possibility and the steward of order—moving within you to establish form from formlessness. The presence of God, seen as the I AM, is the constant backdrop against which your imagined city grows: when you acknowledge that you are the I AM, perception shifts, and what you deem Jerusalem appears in your life as renewal and promise. The vision teaches that renewal comes through conscious design: you decide the size and duration of your inner reality, and it manifests outwardly as opportunity, peace, and alignment with the divine.
