Biblical Context
Zechariah 13:2-4 promises a day when idols are cut off from the land and unclean spirits pass away. It also speaks of false prophets being exposed and their deceptive visions losing power.
Neville's Inner Vision
On your inner stage, Zechariah’s day is the cleansing of your consciousness. The idols named in your thought are cut off and forgotten; the unclean spirits—the restless fears and compulsive beliefs—pass out of your land. When any so‑called prophet arises within you, its whisper is only a relic of past conditioning—your inner parents and tradition saying, ‘You must not live your dream.’ But you, perceiving with the I AM that you are, do not grant it reality. You revise by affirming: I am the only reality here; my awareness creates my world. Watch the old vision lose its force as you stand in quiet assurance. The symbols of deception—the rough garment of pretending to be holy or certain—are no longer needed; you disrobe and rest in simple, unadorned consciousness. In that day, the inner prophets are ashamed of their tales, for your true vision—born of I AM—is alive and undeniable. Let the land be cleared inside you; let the idol names disappear from memory, and let the voice of true being stand alone as your creative governor.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit in stillness and declare, 'I AM the I AM; idols are cut off from my inner land.' Then feel the freedom as the old prophecies fade and your true vision stands in the foreground.
