Biblical Context
God saves the tents of Judah first, so the inner city will not magnify itself. The feeble among Jerusalem shall be as David, and the house of David shall be as God before them.
Neville's Inner Vision
All that Zechariah tells you is a revelation of your own states of consciousness. The tents of Judah are the scattered beliefs you harbor in the dark corners of your mind. When the Lord saves them first, you experience a shift in awareness: pride and self-importance are checked, and the glory of your inner David rises without struggle. In that day you do not battle persons or places; you awaken to the I AM as your defending principle. The feeble among you, any trace of fear, doubt, or limitation, are made as David, because your awareness now acts with regal confidence. The house of David becomes as God, going before you like the angel of the Lord: your higher faculties imagination, faith, will move with a divine presence, guiding every circumstance. And the projection of external enemies? They reflect your own fixed beliefs about limitation. By claiming the inner Jerusalem is defended by the I AM, you dissolve those imagined nations from within, restoring harmony and power to your life.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: I am the I AM defending my inner Jerusalem. Revise any sense of weakness into royal authority and feel the angel of the Lord going before me in my mind.
