Grace Pouring Within

Zechariah 12:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Zechariah 12 in context

Scripture Focus

10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Zechariah 12:10

Biblical Context

God promises to pour the spirit of grace and supplications on the house of David and Jerusalem. They shall look upon the pierced one and mourn as for an only son.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you this: the 'spirit of grace and of supplications' is the inflow of divine awareness into your inner house. It is not an external event but a living movement of consciousness that answers every petition of lack from within. When Zechariah says they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, read it as your own awakening to the I AM you have pierced with belief in separation. The look is a turning of attention back to the divine self, the inner son, the I within who is not distant but present as the one you are becoming. The mourning and bitterness are the birth pains of a new consciousness—letting go of the old identification with lack, fear, or separation. This mourning is not punishment; it is the releasing of false pictures so that the lone son of God within rises in fullness. Thus grace and supplication flow as you align with the I AM, recognizing that grace is your natural state and prayer the articulation of your inner life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are the I AM looking upon your pierced self with grace. Feel the outpouring of grace now and declare, 'I am the I AM; all is well within.'
