Read Zechariah 1 in context

Scripture Focus

16Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.
17Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
Zechariah 1:16-17

Biblical Context

God declares a return to Jerusalem with mercy; the house of God will be built and Zion will be comforted. It also speaks of prosperity spreading outward.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your awareness, the Lord is returning to your Jerusalem with mercies; your inner temple is being rebuilt by your acceptance of God as I AM. The line stretched upon your inner city is your expanding view of possibility, not external maps. Prosperity flows as you are faithful to the claim that your present state is the seed of future fulfilment. When you affirm that God chooses Zion within you, you awaken the certainty that your inward reality precedes outward events. The divine present becomes your point of view, and your feeling of abundance becomes the law by which life unfolds. You are not seeking mercy; you are assuming it as your permanent condition. The 'houses' and 'cities' in Zechariah are symbols of the conditions of your consciousness: built, extended, comforted, chosen. By living in this inner reality, you align your awareness with the merciful purpose of God and invite outward manifestation.

Practice This Now

Imaginatively, assume the I AM is returning to your inner Jerusalem with mercies; feel the house being built within you and see your inner Zion spreading in prosperity.
