Inner Admonition and Release

Titus 3:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Titus 3 in context

Scripture Focus

10A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
11Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
Titus 3:10-11

Biblical Context

After two warnings, an unrepentant belief or influence should be withdrawn, for it is shown to be subverted and self-condemned.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the 'heretic' in Titus as a stubborn belief that has taken up residence in your mind. It is not a person out there, but a state of consciousness masquerading as reality. The two admonitions are two inner reminders: correct the thought, refuse its reign, and return to the I AM that is your true self. When you persist in entertaining the belief, you subvert your own nature and condemn yourself to its effects. But when you refuse it, when you revise the impression by asserting the state of wholeness you intend, you reveal that the belief was never you; its condemnation is only the false self condemning itself. Your power lies in the awareness that creates; by choosing the state of love, order, and health as already present, you dissolve the errant state. The moment you 'reject' is the moment you reclaim the garden of your mind, and the life you live speaks the truth of your one I AM.

Practice This Now

Choose a lingering thought; in your imagination, say, 'You are not permitted here; I revoke you and revise you into the truth of I AM.' Then imagine stepping into a space of wholeness and feel the state as real as breath.
