Pure Mind, Pure World

Titus 1:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Titus 1 in context

Scripture Focus

15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Titus 1:15

Biblical Context

Pure perception arises from inner state. To the pure, all things are pure; to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure because their mind and conscience are defiled.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read as a psychological scripture, Titus 1:15 teaches that purity is not a rule of behavior but a state of consciousness. When I identify with the I AM, the pure awareness within, my thoughts and the very conditions I encounter respond as pure. If I am soaked in judgment or fear, I project impurity onto the world; this is the evidence of a defiled mind—unbelief that colors every moment. But the moment I choose a higher state, a conviction that I am undefiled by memory or past error, I begin to notice that nothing in consciousness truly contaminates me. The outer scene becomes a faithful reflection of inner trust. You are the dreamer of your life; your present assumption determines what appears to be real. Imagination is the only lawgiver here; by imagining yourself as the pure I AM, you revise every belief previously held about guilt, sin, or imperfection. Do not demand proofs from the world; demand proof from the inward state. The world will align when your inner awareness remains steadfast in purity.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I AM pure.' Feel the aliveness of pure awareness filling your chest, then revise a lingering belief of defilement into a fresh truth of innocence, letting that feeling color your next moment.
