Inner Titus: I AM Awakening
Titus 1:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Titus 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul introduces his servant-apostle calling, notes the faith and truth rooted in godliness, and speaks of the hope of eternal life promised by God.
Neville's Inner Vision
See Titus 1:1-4 as your own inner proclamation. Paul is the I AM speaking through your consciousness: a servant of the one Life, an apostle of the Christ that is your awareness. The faith of God's elect becomes your settled conviction that truth already exists in you, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness is simply recognizing alignment between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began becomes the felt reality that Life is continuous now—eternity as the movement of awareness, not a distant event. God’s word is manifested in due times through inner preaching—the words you imagine or speak that align you with your higher self and re-create your self-conception. To Titus, your inner son in the common faith, the Father and the Savior are your inner relationship: grace, mercy, and peace flowing from your own awareness. Trust that the commandment of God is the law of your being and the door to a life lived from the already-given. When you assume you possess eternal life now, you begin to live from that truth.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM is speaking within you: I have eternal life now. Feel that truth filling your chest and radiating through your day; revise any anxious thought by repeating God cannot lie until the mood of grace, mercy, and peace becomes your baseline.
