Biblical Context
Verse 4:7-8 declares the beloved’s flawless beauty and invites a journey upward from the mountains. Plainly, it points to your inner state— purity revealed when you ascend in consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Lovingly, I read the words as the language of your own I AM. Thou art all fair means your essential being is pristine, untouched by fear or limitation; there is no spot because you are the manifested divine self. The invitation 'Come with me from Lebanon' is not a geography but a movement of consciousness—leave the outer stories of separation and stand at the top of your mental Amana, Shenir, and Hermon, where you're looking down on the lions' dens. In this inner place, imagination becomes reality: you choose what you accept as true about you, and you experience it as present fact. The mountains become the heights of awareness available to you when you dwell in the I AM. The imagery asks you to maintain a high view, refusing to identify with fear; from that vantage, the beauty of your being shines through all appearances. This is the practice of feeling it real: assume you are already spotless and in union with the beloved, and let your inner vision complete the outer scene.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and picture yourself standing atop the mountain of your own awareness, softly declaring I AM and feeling the purity as present reality; then move forward in life from that state.
