The Inner Nearer Kinsman

Ruth 3:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ruth 3 in context

Scripture Focus

12And now it is true that I am thy near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
Ruth 3:12

Biblical Context

It states he is Ruth's near kinsman. Yet he admits there is a kinsman nearer.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your verse is a whisper of inner law: every state of consciousness claims kinship with your desired life, yet another state may seem nearer and hold sway. Do not fear this; it is simply the movement by which you become aware of your own I AM—the closer, more authoritative state. When Ruth’s kinsman speaks, he is not a man in time but a state of mind: the sense of being a certain way that presumes limitation. The nearer state, the higher truth, is your true self—the I AM that redeems the life you are imagining. The law of covenant loyalty asks you to remain faithful to the inner agreement that you already possess what you seek, even if a seemingly nearer condition appears. This is not defeat; it is clarification of ascent. You are invited to revise: I am the nearer kinsman; I AM the redeemer of this life; there is no power nearer than I AM. Release the old sense of separation and rest in that awareness, breathing into the certainty until the world confirms from within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene: 'I am the nearer kinsman of this life; there is no other state nearer than I AM.' Then feel it real by letting a quiet certainty rise with each breath.
