Biblical Context
In Ruth 3:11, the speaker reassures Ruth not to fear and promises to fulfill her request, because the city knows she is virtuous.
Neville's Inner Vision
All at once the verse becomes a map of inner law. The 'city' is the collective consciousness within you; 'fear not' is the command to drop worry and to dwell in the certainty that your I AM has already answered. When it says 'I will do to thee all that thou requirest,' that is the inner assurance that your assumption becomes outer form—the divine action responding to your held idea. The line 'for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman' signifies that your outer circumstances reflect the truth you already inhabit in mind; you are not judged by others, you are recognized by your own inner standard, and that recognition radiates back into the world. The practice is simple: assume the state you desire as already real, feel the strength of that inner acknowledgment, and let the world adjust to the truth you hold. You are virtuous; your needs are already met through the I AM in you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, place a hand on your heart, and declare, 'I am already known as virtuous; all my requests are granted by the I AM within me.' Feel it as present reality.
