Ruth 2:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ruth 2 in context

Scripture Focus

12The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.
Ruth 2:12

Biblical Context

Ruth is blessed as she trusts under God's protective wings, and the Lord promises to reward her diligent work.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 12 speaks to the inner law: as Ruth rests under the wings, so you rest under the I AM that loves you. Recompense is not a distant paymaster but the inner concord between your feeling and the truth you accept. The 'full reward' is the complete alignment of your mind with the good you seek—health, provision, protection—shown as outer signs only after you have assumed, felt, and endured the inner state. The wings symbolize safety and guidance, an inner shelter provided by your own awareness when you keep trust. Providence becomes your inner atmosphere; guidance becomes the felt assurance that you are seen and cared for by the I Am within you. Mercy and grace flow as you dwell in that state, and they magnetize favorable circumstances toward you. So, as Ruth trusted, you too enter a place where your work is rewarded by the inner law of God within you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the state: I am under the wings of the Almighty; my work is recompensed by divine love. Feel the warmth of reward already here and let trust anchor your day.
