Romans 9:24-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 9 in context

Scripture Focus

24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
26And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.
Romans 9:24-26

Biblical Context

The passage teaches that God’s call includes both Jews and Gentiles; those once said to be 'not mine' are to be called 'the children of the living God.'

Neville's Inner Vision

Here the apostle invites you to awaken to a larger state of consciousness. The 'call' is not a distant decree upon a people but a present realization by the I AM within you. Hosea's promise—that those once deemed 'not my people' become 'my people'—is your inner memory being rewritten. You are not confined to a name or lineage; you are included in the living relation between God and consciousness. The Gentiles and Jews are folded into one being, because God is the inner truth you discover when you quietly attend to your own awareness. In truth, you are the living answer to the question, 'Who is called?' The answer is: the I AM that you are, calling itself into fullness of relationship, calling you beloved, called, daughter or son of the living God. This is a shift from exclusion to embrace, from lack to abundance, realized as your present experience when you assent to this inner identity.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already called and belonging to the living God. In a quiet minute, repeat, 'I am called; I am one with the living I AM,' and feel the sense of inclusion dissolving any memory of separation.
