Justified by The I Am Within

Romans 8:33-34 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 8 in context

Scripture Focus

33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:33-34

Biblical Context

God justifies His elect; there is no condemnation because Christ died and intercedes for us.

Neville's Inner Vision

View the verse as a description of your inner courtroom, where you are the elect in spirit and God is the I AM that stands as your awareness. When any accusation arises, you do not reach outside to clear it; you repeat the truth that God justifies. 'It is God that justifieth' means the very nature of your being declares you innocent, because your reality is governed by the I AM, not by fluctuating appearances. 'Who is he that condemneth?' answers itself: condemnation dissolves in the light of your true self, which is Christ within you. Christ died—not to punish you, but to annihilate the old sense of separateness, so that the risen Christ sits at the right hand of God, interceding for you now. The intercession is not an external plea but the ongoing awareness that you are seated in the midst of the Father, kept by grace. Therefore your salvation is a present psychological state, a realized redemption accomplished in your mind as you awaken to who you are. Your faith is a decision to live from that inner throne where acceptance and advocacy meet.

Practice This Now

Assume the state 'I AM the Justifier' now and dwell there until it feels real. Feel the risen Christ interceding within you.
