Biblical Context
Romans 8:18 contrasts present sufferings with a future glory to be revealed in us; the latter outshines the former.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the verse as a map for consciousness. The so-called sufferings of this moment are movements within your inner state, not the final truth of who you are. The glory that shall be revealed in us is the awakening of the I AM—your innate awareness—into full manifestation. In Neville’s terms, imagination creates reality: you must shift your inner center from pain to the joy and abundance you already are. Do not deny the pain; use it as a signal to revise your state until the feeling of the glorious self becomes your dominant atmosphere. When you dwell in the recognition that the glory is already present within, you align your vibrational state with that glory, and the outer scene follows. The verse invites you to trust the inner revelation over the appearances you suffer. Keep returning to the awareness of the I AM and of yourself as the glory unveiled in you, here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the feeling of the fulfilled glory now. When pain arises, quietly declare, 'I am the glory revealed in me,' and let that conviction fill your body and mind.
