Romans 8:15-16

Biblical Context

Romans 8:15-16 states you did not receive a spirit of fear, but the Spirit of adoption, crying Abba, Father; the Spirit bears witness that you are God's children.

Neville's Inner Vision

This is a present, not future, shift: you awaken to the I AM within, the consciousness that calls God Abba. Your real birthright is not earned but remembered as you align your inner state with the truth of sonship. When you imagine yourself as the beloved child, you enter the Spirit’s witnessing; fear loses ground as awareness of God's indwelling is strengthened. The Spirit within bears witness to your oneness with God by turning your attention from external circumstance to the intimate presence inside. The inner voice that utters 'Abba, Father' is the memory of your original relationship, revived by your faithful assumption. The world responds to this inward posture: bondage dissolves, separation fades, and you live as God's offspring, confirmed by the Spirit’s witness in your own spirit. This is the inward ceremony: rest in the truth of your sonship and let the life of God stream through every moment.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state—'I am a beloved child of God.' Sit quietly, breathe, and feel Abba's embrace. Let fear dissolve as you declare your sonship here and now.
