No Condemnation, Spirit Freedom

Romans 8:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 8 in context

Scripture Focus

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2

Biblical Context

The verse declares that in Christ there is no condemnation for those led by the Spirit; the Spirit's life frees one from the old law of sin and death.

Neville's Inner Vision

See yourself not by the old signposts of the flesh, but as the I AM aware of Spirit. To be 'in Christ Jesus' is to dwell in a state of awareness that is alive to life and not bound by the body’s habit. Condemnation appears only when you identify with appearances; when you shift your attention to the Spirit, the law of life in Christ Jesus begins to operate, dissolving sin and death from your inner atmosphere. The 'walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit' becomes a simple choice of attention: you turn from reliance on old patterns and align with the presence that renews and sustains you. In this inner alignment, there is no penalty to fear, no shadow that can overpower your true state. Your consciousness becomes the living field where freedom is realized; the old decree loses its force and you rise into vitality, clarity, and reconciliation with all that is.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare 'There is no condemnation in me now' and feel the I AM filling every nerve with life. Return to that feeling until it feels real and let your actions today flow from that inner liberty.
