Freedom From Sin, Service In Righteousness
Romans 6:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse states that through liberation from sin, the believer enters a role of serving righteousness. It points to an inner shift, not external punishment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of sin as a state of consciousness; I am the I AM, awareness that cannot sin. When this inner shift lands, you are no longer enslaved by fear or lack; you become the servant of righteousness—your inner disposition now serves truth, love, and order. The phrase 'servants of righteousness' refers to habits, thoughts, and actions that flow from a higher law within. If I assume I am free and righteous, my thoughts and choices align with that reality; my days rearrange to match the inner claim. Do not pursue virtue as a distant duty; close your eyes and feel the wish fulfilled now. Revision is to speak as if the new self is already true, and to act from that inner authority. In time, the outer world reflects this inward alignment: challenges transform into expressions of right conduct.
Practice This Now
Assume the new state now: 'I am free from sin, and I serve righteousness.' Feel the truth in your chest and let your next decision arise from that state.
