Read Romans 5 in context

Scripture Focus

9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:9-10

Biblical Context

Paul states we are justified by Christ's blood and saved from wrath. Through reconciliation by the death of the Son, we are saved by the life that follows.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, Romans 5:9-10 speaks to the inner law of your being: you are justified by the blood—your awareness—that you are already worthy in the sight of the One I AM. The 'wrath' spoken of is the old self-born fear you carry when you forget who you are. When you recognize that reconciliation with God comes not by outward sacrifice but by turning your own mind toward the truth of oneness, that moment of death to lack opens the door to life. The death of the Son is the symbolic relinquishment of the old sense of separation; the life of the Son is the continuous, inner current of divine life that now animates you. Thus you are saved not by waiting for some distant event, but by dwelling in the understanding that the Life within you is God in action. Your inner state of acceptance becomes your outer experience of wholeness, and salvation becomes a present, ongoing realization, here and now.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the stance: I am reconciled to God now by the life within me. Feel it real as the ongoing presence that saves me; repeat, 'I am saved by the life of Christ within me' until the sense of separation dissolves.
