Romans 5:14

Biblical Context

Death reigned from Adam to Moses as the old pattern of consciousness ruled life. Adam is the figure of him who was to come, the coming life already within.

Neville's Inner Vision

From Adam to Moses, death here is not a physical doom but the outer record of an old state of consciousness. Adam is the figure of him that was to come—the inner, living I AM you truly are. The verse thus points to a shift: you need not wait for outer reform; identify with the coming self and let that reality feel real in your chest. Your world answers the state you hold in awareness. When you refuse to chase appearances or moral judgments and instead dwell in the felt sense of the fulfilled life, the power that labeled life as death dissolves. The kingdom is within; the outer scene must adjust to reflect that inner verity. These figures no longer rule you once you assume the state of the Life to come, here and now. The practice is to awaken to your I AM and imagine yourself already standing in that future self, then let imagination do the changing work on the present.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and feel the I AM within; imagine you are the coming figure, already alive beyond the old pattern. Stay with that feeling until it feels real.
