Romans 5:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 5 in context

Scripture Focus

1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1-2

Biblical Context

Being justified by faith means you stand in peace with God through Christ, and by faith you gain access to grace, rejoicing in the hope of God's glory. These truths are inner states to be lived in the I AM, not external facts.

Neville's Inner Vision

Romans 5:1-2 invites you to hear justification as a return to your true state: you are already the I AM, and through that awareness you declare yourself reconciled with God. Peace with God is not a distant condition won by works of the outer world; it is the inner alignment of your entire being with the source of life. Jesus Christ points to the inner Christ within you, the awakened mind that mediates every perception. By faith we have access by this grace wherein we stand; this is not earned but assumed. When you assume you are already standing in grace, you live from the end, not toward it. The glory of God is the radiance of your true standing, the sense of divine life shining as calm, acceptance, and creative power. Rejoicing in hope is the habit of a consciousness that knows possibility from the inside out; it is the inner conviction that what you inwardly behold as real will manifest in your world. The outer circumstances yield when the inner posture is fixed in the truth of oneness.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and declare I am justified by faith; I stand in grace now, and I am at peace with God. Feel the inner light illuminate your being as you rest in this truth.
