Biblical Context
Abraham believes against all odds, embracing a promise spoken by God rather than the appearance of despair. His faith stays strong, not wavering with age or dead womb, until the promise is fulfilled.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine you are Abraham in consciousness, and the outer world is simply a reflection of your inner state. Against the apparent hopelessness of time and circumstance, you choose the living hope of your I AM, repeating the ancient phrase, So shall thy seed be, as a command to your mind. Do not allow the body's limitations or external signs to dilute your image; your inner sight remains firm and undisturbed. When you stagger not at the promise, you practice the discipline of faith: you affirm that your word is law in your inner realm, and that the power to perform lies within your I AM. You become fully persuaded that what is promised is already done in consciousness, and therefore destined to manifest in form. The miracle is not separate from you but arising from your conviction. Persisting in this inner certainty, you awaken the seed of possibility and render it visible in your life, by the manner in which you think, feel, and dwell in the truth of your own inner promise.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the father of many nations' within your mind. Visualize a vivid scene where the promise is fulfilled and feel the reality of it now, as your own unwavering truth.
