Inner Righteousness by Faith

Romans 3:22-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Romans 3 in context

Scripture Focus

22Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:22-24

Biblical Context

Righteousness comes by faith in Jesus for all who believe; there is no difference between people. All have sinned and fall short of the glory, yet justification comes freely by grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice the inner claim: the righteousness of God is not earned by outward works but received by faith in Jesus Christ, unto all who believe. There is no difference; your true self is seen when your awareness rests in the I AM within. All have sinned—meaning the habitual forgetfulness of your divine glory—but you are justified freely by grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, an awakening inside your own consciousness. The 'redemption' is the unveiling of the Christ state within, not a distant transaction; when you identify with that state, separation dissolves and you dwell in the glory that has always been yours. Faith is the alignment of your awareness with the truth of your divine sonship; grace is the atmosphere surrounding that awareness, always available to the sincere seeker.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume the consciousness of being righteous now. Silently repeat, 'I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,' and feel the I AM shining through you, dissolving old guilt and awakening your true glory.
