Biblical Context
Paul explains that he has been hindered from coming, but now hopes to visit, planning to go to Spain and trusting to be guided by the company of believers.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, Paul’s hindrance is a state of consciousness rather than mere circumstance. The land of Spain becomes the broader field of his witness, the sovereign realm his imagination is about to unfold. 'No more place in these parts' signifies that the current inner state has exhausted its usefulness; the great desire carried for years is the living wind of a new inner movement ready to move. When he says, 'Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you,' he states the law: once the inner conviction is fixed, the outer happens to confirm it. 'I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you' points to the inner company—the feelings, thoughts, and attitudes within that will accompany and propel the external journey. The 'you' is not only a person but the presence of receptive consciousness within you that makes the voyage possible. The voyage to Spain is an expansion of being, a shift in the think-feel network that creates consistent, desired outcomes. Your task is to align your present imagination with the intended end, and trust that the world will rearrange itself to reflect it.
Practice This Now
Assume the end you desire is already realized and feel the inner company surrounding you. Visualize your journey to Spain as already begun, and let the sensation of being guided by that company fill your heart.
