Romans 15:12 whispers that a root of Jesse shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, and in that reigning the Gentiles trust. In Neville’s sense, the root is not a distant prophecy but the inner, waking consciousness—the I AM—that quietly governs every scene. The Gentiles are the foreign powers of your life—doubt, fear, opposition—outside appearances you have believed to rule you. When you place your attention on the root within, you acknowledge that this inner king is already ruling. Your imagination becomes the throne room; your feeling supports the claim; and trust arises as you stop chasing externals and return to the awareness of oneness. The promise is not coming; it is revealed as you dwell in the idea that you are that root who reigns. As you dwell in that consciousness, the outward world begins to reflect the harmony of the inner reign; people and circumstances align because you have assumed the truth of the inner kingdom, and trust flows from that assumption.
