Biblical Context
This passage extols the depth of God's wisdom and knowledge, declares that his judgments are unsearchable and beyond human calculation, and affirms that all things come from, through, and to God, to whom be glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Romans 11:33-36 as a doorway into your own consciousness. The depth of the riches of God’s wisdom and knowledge is not an external riddle to be solved but a description of the mind you awaken when you claim the I AM as your own. For in the phrase 'of him, and through him, and to him, are all things' you hear the truth that every appearance flows from your inner state and returns to your sovereign awareness. If you question, 'Who hath known the mind of the Lord?' you are really invited to drop outward searching and accept that the Lord’s mind is now operating as your present awareness. When you assume ownership of that mind, judgments become discoverable not by fighting circumstances but by aligning your inner state with the fact that you are the channel and instrument of all that appears. The glory belongs to your awakened I AM, for through it all things are made and sustained. Thus, the verse calls you to rest in the certainty that you are the consciousness by which the world is formed.
Practice This Now
Practice: sit quietly, breathe, and assume the I AM as your own mind. Say softly, 'I am the mind of the Lord; through me all things are formed; I govern by the one I AM,' then feel the reality as if it is already so.
