Biblical Context
Romans 11:2-4 reveals that God has not rejected His people; Elijah’s complaint is answered by the revelation of a faithful remnant—seven thousand inner states that have not bowed to Baal.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the hearer within, the text says clearly: God has not cast away his people. Elijah’s complaint is merely the human sigh that wonders if the I AM is listening when the outer world seems to reject truth. Yet the inner law in view is Providence, the undivided I AM, preserving a remnant of faith. When the prophets are killed in your outward tale and altars topple in your memory, remember this: seven thousand inner states have not bowed to the image of Baal. They hide not in denial but in steadfast awareness. The remnant is a configuration of consciousness, a fortress of attention that remains true to God in spite of appearances. Your prayer, then, is not against someone but into your own heart’s intercession; you ask the Divine to show you the truth you already harbor. As you dwell there, you will discover the answer: you are not abandoned; you are safely preserved by the inner covenant, awaiting expression in action and peace.
Practice This Now
Assume the remnant conscious state now: declare, 'I am one of the seven thousand who have not bowed to Baal,' and feel that inner certainty saturate your being.
