Read Romans 1 in context

Scripture Focus

3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

5By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Romans 1:3-5

Biblical Context

Romans 1:3-5 speaks of Jesus, born of David, proven as Son of God by the power of the resurrection. It is through him that believers receive grace and an apostleship to bring the faith to all nations.

Neville's Inner Vision

These words announce that the Son of God is not a distant figure but the I AM awakening in you, clothed in your human story (seed of David). The power granted to Jesus is the power available to you when the Spirit of Holiness is recognized as your own consciousness. The resurrection is your mind rising from sleep, dissolving the sense of separation, and revealing that life is indivisible from God. Grace is given freely in that recognition, and apostleship is your calling to bring this faith into every corner of your inner world—and then outward, to all nations of thought—for His name. When you hold this truth, obedience to faith becomes effortless, as you align with the reality that you are the embodiment of divine sonship, here and now.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the Son of God now: feel the I AM as your immediate experience. For the next 10 minutes, imagine one area of your life already in alignment with grace, then let the feeling of 'obedience to faith' flood it.
