Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul expresses his intention to visit Rome to bear fruit among them and declares a debt to all peoples—Greeks, barbarians, the wise and the unwise—emphasizing his readiness to preach to them as well.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner temple of your mind, Romans 1:13-15 invites you to recognize that the 'I'—the I AM— is always prepared to express truth to every aspect of consciousness. The typical external mission collapses into a universal inner mission: you owe it to the 'Greeks' and 'Barbarians,' the wise and the unwise, those bright and dim corners of your own psychology, to awaken them to the gospel of awareness. The sense of being let hitherto is your old conditioning released; the fruit you seek is the awakening fruit within you—love, clarity, strength—produced by the spoken Word of your inner teacher. Say to yourself: I am debtor to all aspects of my mind; I am ready to preach the gospel of I AM to every state of consciousness. This readiness is not force but alignment: when you align with your inner teacher, your entire inner Rome becomes receptive and fruitful, and you discover that 'preaching' is simply expressing the truth you already are.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place attention on the I AM within, and assume you are already teaching every aspect of your mind the gospel of awareness; feel the certainty of readiness and allow the inner fruit to begin manifesting as confidence, love, and clarity.
