Inner Warning Whispers

Revelation 8:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 8 in context

Scripture Focus

13And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
Revelation 8:13

Biblical Context

An angel proclaims three woes to the inhabitants of the earth, warning of things yet to come as trumpets sound. In Neville's view, the 'earth' is the outward consciousness, and these woes signal inner shifts awaiting revision.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold, the angel sweeping through the heavens is your own I AM, moving through the arena of awareness and awakening the mind to the truth that conditions on the outside answer to the pictures you feed within. The 'woe, woe, woe' is not punishment but a threefold alarm—an inner signal that you have relied upon appearances rather than the reality you are imagining. The inhabitants of the earth are the scattered states of consciousness that cling to lack, time, and doubt, and the trumpet voices that yet to sound are the unfolding degrees of imagination you have not yet embraced. When you hear those warnings, do not fight them; invite a revision: replace the old inner scene of limitation with the feeling of your wish already fulfilled. Remember: God, the I AM, is the doer of all, and your awareness creates your world. So align with the end you desire, and allow the coming sounds to harmonize with that new inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end is already yours, feeling it as real in this moment. Repeat an 'I AM' present-tense statement that confirms the fulfilled state until the inner picture refreshes to the new reality.
