Seal of God Within
Revelation 7:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Revelation 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
An angel with the seal of the living God commands that harm not the earth, sea, or trees until the servants of God are sealed. The seal marks a protective inner state determining what may enter your life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the vision as the inner weather of your mind. The angel ascending from the east is the dawning awareness that you are at the birth of a new thought, the moment your attention turns to the I AM within. The seal of the living God is not a brick stamped upon a forehead in the outer world, but a felt state of consciousness you place on the inner space where belief resides—your mental forehead. When you hear the command to hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, you are practicing boundary keeping in your own imagination: do not allow the old dream to disturb your world until your inner servants are sealed. Who are these servants? They are your convictions, your imaginal acts, your steadfast thoughts that align with God within. The outer conditions of earth and sea react to your inner state; the old winds disperse only when you hold the new self-definition with unwavering attention. The seal is not imposed by force but declared by awareness. In this sense, the kingdom of God is present now as you choose, feel, and persist in your divine I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine a radiant seal forming on your forehead, the seal of the living God. Quietly repeat, 'I am sealed by God; nothing harms the self that is aware,' and let the feeling of protection linger as you return to daily life.
