Revelation 7:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Revelation 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse speaks of a state of sufficiency and protection where hunger, thirst, and harsh conditions are removed. It signals an inner experience of divine provision.
Neville's Inner Vision
To read Revelation 7:16 is to observe the inner law at work. The hunger, thirst, sun, and heat are not external tyrants but images of your thought-life, the conditions you have consented to within your own consciousness. The promise that they shall hunger no more or thirst no more speaks of a shift in awareness: you have withdrawn your attention from lack and fixed it upon the I AM that nourishes, sustains, and lights within. When you realize that God, the I AM, is the source of every meal and every shelter, the outer conditions dissolve into quiet abundance. The sun's heat becomes the steady and protective light of consciousness, not a blazing threat. In this light, salvation is not coming from outside but awakening to the truth of your being: you are the realized, fed, safe, and guided self, already provided for by Providence. Practice from the stillness: accept that you are fed, watered, and sheltered by the presence within, and let your imagination clothe your life in that infinite sufficiency.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM within you is the source of all nourishment and shelter; feel the reality of being fed and protected, and let that feeling spread through every aspect of your day.
