The three measures of barley for a penny hint at other needs that might seem scarce, yet the decree not to harm the oil and wine reserves your higher life—oil representing healing and anointing, wine symbolizing joy and spiritual vitality. The voice is your inner governor, the I AM, guiding Providence in your consciousness. Your freedom is to revise lack by assuming abundance, while tenderly guarding your spiritual riches. When you feel this inward economy, you are not crushed by appearances; you are tuning your inner atmosphere to abundance and righteousness. Act as if you are already bathed in nourishment and protected by divine energy, and your outward world follows that inner order.
