Inner Peace Amid The Red Horse

Revelation 6:3-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 6 in context

Scripture Focus

3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Revelation 6:3-4

Biblical Context

The second seal opens to reveal a red horse that takes peace from the earth, unleashing conflict, with a great sword as its instrument.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the red horse as a state of consciousness—fear, contention, or judgment—that robs you of inner calm. The earth is your field of awareness; when peace is withdrawn, discord arises as if powered from above. God is I AM, the unchanging witness behind every scene. The second seal signals you have mistaken reality for the warlike images within your mind. Yet you are awareness, not the images. By refusing identification with the conflict and returning to the I AM, you revise the scene. Imagination creates reality, so you can dissolve the red horse by assuming a new state: peace is your natural, now-present condition. Feel this truth until it is fully real. Let the images recede as you rest in the indwelling I AM. Judgment yields to awareness, and righteousness rises as harmony within when you remember you are consciousness, not the passing scenes of fear.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state, 'I AM peace,' and feel it as real; revise the scene so the red horse dissolves and the earth rests in your awareness.
