Biblical Context
An elder bids John not to weep; the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed to open the scroll, and a Lamb standing in the midst, with seven horns and seven eyes, represents the seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth. He then comes to take the book from the right hand of the one seated on the throne.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the inner vantage, this scene is your own state of consciousness. The Lion is the sovereign power of I AM—the inner fortitude that has prevailed to unlock the scroll of your life. The Lamb, slain yet alive, with seven horns and seven eyes, embodies the seven Spirits of God as your seven faculties awake and active in every moment, moving freely into all your affairs. The throne and its surrounding witnesses mark the arena of awareness where you attend to life; taking the book from the right hand is you, in this moment, claiming authorship of your inner narrative. There is no separation between victory and surrender; power and perception are unified in one I AM. When you entertain the fact that the scroll is already opened, you loosen the seals by mere assumption and feeling. The world you experience then follows your revised inner state, for imagination creates reality and your inner scene becomes your outer life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and assume the scroll is open; declare that you are the author of your life and feel the I AM authority in your chest as the seven Spirits begin moving through your day.
