Inner Throne Room Worship

Revelation 4:5-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 4 in context

Scripture Focus

5And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
9And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:5-11

Biblical Context

The vision places God on a radiant throne, surrounded by awe-inspiring creatures and elders who worship and declare Creator-origin. It highlights an ordered cosmos held together by holiness and perpetual praise.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the throne room as your inner state of consciousness. The throne itself is the I AM that you are, the center commanding every thought and feeling. The seven lamps are the seven Spirits of God—seven shining aspects of awareness that stand before you, ready to illuminate any corner of your mind. The sea of glass tells you that when you still your restless thoughts, your mind becomes a clear, untroubled surface. The four beasts—lion, calf, man, eagle—mirror your faculties: strength, service, understanding, and sight; when you acknowledge them as yours, you bring them into harmony beneath your central awareness. The twenty-four elders casting their crowns signify relinquishing personal pride and submitting to the higher Self. Worship, therefore, is not outward ceremony but the gentle, constant acknowledgment that you are created by and for this Presence. As you dwell in this consciousness, you touch the reality that imagination is the true activity of God in you, and every perceived world arises from that I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume, with conviction, that you are the throne room of awareness; feel the sevenfold light arise within you and let your mind rest on the calm surface. Then offer a brief, sincere worship-like affirmation, 'I am created for This Presence.'
