Revelation 4:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 4 in context

Scripture Focus

10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:10-11

Biblical Context

Twenty-four elders worship before the throne, acknowledging that God is worthy and that all creation exists for God's pleasure. The scene invites you to see your life as a state of consciousness ordered by the divine.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the elders kneel and cast their crowns before the throne, not to please an external king, but to show that every worn title, every identity, is surrendered to the one presence you call God. In Neville's sense, the throne is your own I AM—your continuous awareness. The crowns are the beliefs, roles, and victories you have worn in mind. When you cast them, you release attachment to them and allow conscious life to be ordered by the divine idea within. Thou art worthy speaks to your inner recognition that all power, glory, and honor belong to the self that is aware. For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created means your world exists by and for the pleasure of God within you—the idea that you are, and always are, in its image. Your task is to align with that pleasure, not to chase outcomes.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and visualize the throne of the I AM within your chest. Lay your crowns—fears, identities, and victories—before that throne and feel that you were created for God's pleasure, aligning your life with divine order.
