Biblical Context
Jesus testifies to the churches, invites the thirsty to drink freely of the water of life, cautions against altering the prophecy, and ends with the quick coming of Christ and grace.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner reading of this text is not about distant events, but about the state you inhabit now. The words are spoken to the I AM that you are. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches—this is your inner self bearing witness. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star—your consciousness is rooted in its lineage and can rise as dawn when you turn your gaze inward. The Spirit and the Bride say Come: an inner invitation and a faithful response. Let the hearer say Come: as you listen, your mood and expectancy align with the invitation. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely: life flows when you drink of consciousness as life, not lack. Beware adding to or taking away from these words—the inner law of your mind corrects itself when you stand faithful to what is revealed in you. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, here and now, as you awaken.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and repeat 'Spirit and Bride say Come' until the words settle as your own awareness. Then feel the I AM within as the water of life already yours, and revise any sense of lack into fullness.
