Revelation 22:15

Biblical Context

Revelation 22:15 names an inner boundary: what lies outside the inner life are deep distortions and lies; the holy city is an inner realm of truth and integrity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Revelation 22:15, the 'outside' is not a physical place but a state of consciousness. The dogs, sorcerers, whoremongers, murderers, idolaters and all who love and make a lie are names for inner attitudes that have wandered from the I AM—the sole reality you inhabit. When you identify with fear, lust, greed, or deception, you push away the light and you feel shut out from the holy city. But that city is not distant; it is the living awareness you already are. To dwell there you must revise, not the other person, but your sense of self. Assume the truth of your I AM, insist on integrity as your standard, and let imagination render it as now. See every impulse, every thought, as a building block of your temple. Your task is to turn the lie into truth by loving honesty and faithful seeing. The moment you refuse the lie and honor the light, you re-enter the inner city, and what was outside becomes your continuous experience of being.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest and repeat, 'I am the I AM; I am truth and fidelity.' Then imagine stepping through a bright gateway into an inner city of light, leaving outside thoughts behind.
