Biblical Context
Revelation 22:14-15 promises access to the tree of life and the city to those who keep the commandments; those outside are characterized by corrupted loves and falsehoods.
Neville's Inner Vision
Stop looking for the city outside and begin to feel the city within. The commandments are not external laws to obey but inner alignments with the I AM, the waking of consciousness that seeks truth over image. When you keep these inner commandments, you align your sense of self with the life that never falters; you become the tree of life in action—vital, radiant, refusing to entertain fear, vanity, or lies. The 'dogs' and 'idolaters' you see are not others; they are proclivities of mind left unchecked—habitual attitudes that live outside the state of awareness you are choosing. To enter through the gates is simply to assume you are already inside, living as the consciousness that has nothing to fear from anything, because all things exist within your own I AM. Begin by revising any story that you are lacking, and claim the truth: I am the commandment-keeper, I am life, I am safely within the city of my own making.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes for five minutes and say, 'I am the I AM; I keep the inner commandments; I now enter the city.' Visualize walking through a gate into a vibrant tree‑of‑life garden and feel life pulsing through you.
