Biblical Context
Revelation 21:3-4 proclaims that the tabernacle of God is with humanity and He will dwell among them. It promises the wiping away of tears and the end of death, sorrow, and pain, with the former things passed.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the vision is not a distant promise but a shift in your present consciousness. The tabernacle of God is the active I AM within you; when you recognize that God dwells in your own awareness, the sense of separation dissolves and your life is reoriented. In that interior dwelling, God’s presence is not a far-off event but your immediate experience. The wiping away of tears represents a change of feeling—when you stop identifying with lack or fear and begin identifying with the truth that you are the very place of God, the old pains lose their power. The line that the former things are passed away is the closing of a page in your self-story; you stand anew in the kingdom that already exists as your consciousness. Your imagination is the instrument through which this kingdom becomes your daily life. Practice with the conviction that you are now the tabernacle; let the I AM within you govern your thoughts and feelings until peace prevails.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of God dwelling within you now: silently declare, 'I am the tabernacle of God; God is with me today.' Then breathe in that presence and let any lingering sorrow or fear dissolve as you experience inner peace.
