Inner Temple Light Revelation

Revelation 21:22-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 21 in context

Scripture Focus

22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Revelation 21:22-23

Biblical Context

There is no external temple; God and the Lamb are the temple, and the city is lit by the glory of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this vision the temple is not a place to visit but a state of your own consciousness. The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple because awareness itself becomes the sacred dwelling where you live. The city needing no sun or moon shows outer light is unnecessary when inner light—the glory of God within—shines through every thought, feeling, and action. The light is not an external brightness; it is the presence of I AM, the steadfast you that knows, I am. When you rest in that awareness, your life is illuminated by the Lamb's light, and appearances of lack or separation fade into a single radiant center. This is a shift from seeking outward signs to abiding as the inner sanctuary, a constant home where God and you coincide as one light. Your world reflects your inner state; claim the lamp within and observe the outer scenes rearrange to match the inner temple.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, breathe, and say: I am the temple of God; the Lamb lights my inner city. Revise your sense of self to dwell there for a moment and feel that light becoming real in you.
