Biblical Context
Plainly, the vision presents an inner throne-room where judgment flows from a steadfast witness. It speaks of a first resurrection as a new life arising in consciousness, distinct from the old, dead state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this vision the throne is your I AM, the ruling consciousness of reality. Judgment issues from that awareness, not from without. The souls 'beheaded for the witness of Jesus' are the facets of yourself that you crucify to the witness and the Word of God within, freeing yourself from every idol—the beast, its image, and its mark—your fears, cravings, and attachments. By refusing allegiance to those inner idols, you empower a new order where you live and reign with Christ for a thousand years—an extended season of living in a true alignment of mind. The rest of the dead who do not live again until the thousand years finish represents the aspects of your former, unconscious life that remain inert until your choice to awaken revises them. The 'first resurrection' is the moment consciousness awakens to its inner sovereignty and begins to rule from the I AM, rather than from fear or habit.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine yourself seated on a radiant throne within. Feel the I AM as sovereign awareness and declare, 'I reign with Christ within,' letting idol thoughts fade as you hold this new state.
