16Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Revelation 2:16

Biblical Context

Revelation 2:16 urges a turning of the inner state; the threat and the sword refer to the power of your own speech shaping your life. The verse invites you to revise your thoughts so your inner word aligns with truth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the Neville lens, this verse is a portrait of your inner kingdom. Repentance becomes a turning of consciousness, a willing revision of the sentences you repeatedly utter in the chamber of your mind. The quick coming is the immediate effect of thoughts you persist in; the sword of my mouth is not a weapon wielded by a deity against others, but the sharp, precise Word you speak within yourself. Your I AM—the awareness that remains when stories fade—must judge the quality of your inner speech. When you notice fear, lack, or complaint, you may fight them by declaring a new sentence: I AM the truth of my being; I move in alignment with good; all things work for my good now. The sword cuts away the old program by illuminating it with a new conviction. Therefore, repent by fixing your attention on the one unassailable fact: I AM. Speak from that fact, imagine from that state, and let the rest dissolve.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and revise one dominant thought. Whisper to yourself I am the I AM; I turn now to truth; the sword of my mouth cuts away fear. Then feel the relief as the new state takes hold.
