Biblical Context
Revelation 19:8 presents the saints clothed in fine linen, symbolizing an inner righteousness. The linen stands for a holy state of mind that you carry within, not something earned from without.
Neville's Inner Vision
All scripture, in the Neville sense, is a description of states of consciousness. The bride in white linen is not a distant church figure but your own awakened mind arrayed in the purity you entertain. The fine linen, clean and white, is the righteousness of saints—the inner competence, grace, and integrity you assume in imagination. When you dwell in the I AM and claim that you are already righteous, you clothe yourself with that garment now, not later. The saints are not separate beings outside of you; they are the possible outcomes of your inner life when you consent to a higher state. The external world then reflects that inner linen: thoughts become pure, relationships become harmonious, and acts align with your inner standard. This is not an act of striving, but a revision of your present self-conception. The vision asks you to live from the end, to feel the texture of your wearing righteousness as you move through the day, so that your experience echoes the color of your inner conviction.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already clothed in white linen of righteousness. Let the texture of pure being fill your thoughts and feel it now, and let it guide your actions.
