Inner Marriage of the Lamb
Revelation 19:7-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Revelation 19 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Plain paraphrase: The passage proclaims joy in the Lamb's marriage, the bride's readiness, and the blessing of those invited to the marriage supper. It also directs worship to God and identifies the testimony of Jesus as the spirit of prophecy.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this vision I awaken to the truth that the Lamb is the living I AM in me, the constant I from which all experience flows. The marriage is my inner covenant—my thought-life and feeling-life aligned with divine purpose. The wife who has made herself ready is my own disciplined mind: cleansing it of fear, dressing it in pure intention, wearing the righteousness of saints as a daily attitude. The fine linen is not external garments but the clear, steady quality of my being. The call to the marriage supper invites me to dwell in this state as my natural condition. When the angel says 'these are the true sayings of God,' I hear that the truth whispered within me. I bow not to worship beings, but to worship God in myself; the testimony of Jesus becomes the spirit of prophecy in my life, a living assurance that my imagination is king and queen, shaping acts, scenes, and outcomes according to the one reality I AM.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now: I am the beloved of the Lamb; feel the linen robe of righteousness around my consciousness. Then worship God within and let the inner testimony guide my next moment.
