Revelation 17:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 17 in context

Scripture Focus

12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Revelation 17:12

Biblical Context

Ten horns are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom; they will wield power for a brief hour with the beast.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this vision, you are not watching distant rulers but registering states of consciousness in your own mind. The ten horns are ten thought-forms that pretend to rule your life. They have received no kingdom, meaning they lack lasting authority when faced with the I AM that you truly are. Their power comes for one hour from the beast—the restless outward mind that seeks to dominate by appearances. Remember Neville’s law: imagination is the sole reality; you dream your world into being. These horned figures exist only as beliefs you entertain for a season. When you identify with your true king—the inner state of I AM—the decree of the horns is revoked and the beast loses its grip. The brief hour passes, and the kingdom becomes your steady awareness rather than an external power. Rest in the certainty that the kingdom is within, ready to reign the moment you assume it. The horned kings bow to the sovereign I AM as you persist in the feeling of being already complete.

Practice This Now

Practice: Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and assume you are the I AM, the sovereign king within. Repeat, 'I am the I AM,' and imagine the ten horns fading as you stand in the kingdom now.
